🏠 COMMUNITY HOUSE RULES
These rules exist to protect you — not to restrict you. Please read them before participating.
RULE 1 — No real names or personal financial details
Use a first name or nickname only. Never share account balances, tax returns, pay stubs, SIN numbers, or specific dollar amounts from your personal finances.
✅ Correct way to ask: “In a scenario where someone earns around $80K, has $30K in RRSP, and has never opened a TFSA — where should they start?”
❌ Incorrect: “I make $82,400 and have $31,500 in my RRSP. What should I do?”
Protecting your privacy protects you.
RULE 2 — Scenarios and education only
This community teaches financial concepts. It does not provide personalised financial advice.
Share what you have learned. Ask questions as general scenarios. Discuss concepts and frameworks.
Never tell another member what they specifically should do with their money. That requires a licensed professional who knows their full situation.
RULE 3 — No personal financial advice
You are not a licensed financial adviser in this community — even if you are one in real life.
Community members learn together. They do not advise each other on specific financial decisions.
Our Certified Financial Planner mentor is available through The Path and personal consultation — not here.
RULE 4 — No spam or promotion
No promoting external products, services, communities, or opportunities without prior written permission from Plannerborn admin.
No unsolicited sharing of referral links in community discussions.
Plannerborn Ambassadors may share their referral links only in the dedicated Ambassador channel — never in the educational groups.
RULE 5 — No sharing of paid content
Paid programme materials from The Path and consultation services are protected under copyright. They must not be shared in this community or elsewhere.
RULE 6 — Respect always
We are all at different stages. No judgment about where anyone is starting from.
No harassment, discrimination, or abusive language of any kind. Violations result in immediate removal — no warnings.
RULE 7 — Disclose referral relationships
If you are a Plannerborn Ambassador and you mention a partner product in any message — you must disclose:
“I am a Plannerborn Ambassador and may earn a referral fee from this.”
Non-disclosure is a violation of your Ambassador Agreement and will result in removal from the programme.
